The original suit of armor made of Volucite used to make Shell's armour
Volucite is a fictional substance in the HUniverse used to make the power armor SHELL wears. It is described as crystaline in nature, stronger than steel, light, able to refract light, and has a blue tint. It is an incredibly rare metal only discovered by a poor miner in the Japan dynasty. Legend states that it was impossible to work on unless it was near a crystal the miner wore around his neck.
Being such a rare, powerful mineral, many agencies and crime syndicates have tried to get their hands on SHELL's armour which he refuses to part with.
Shuten Doji and later Armada possessed a sword that was also forged of volucite.
